I had not really thought about it until just before I got your note today, but thinking back, my colleagues and I have been comparing all of the other hotels where we have either scheduled or attend events to your hotel. I am not just referring to Florida, I am referring to events all over the southern United States. "I just wanted to take a moment to let you know about my recent experience with Crowne Plaza in Melbourne. We live in Dallas Texas and our daughter wanted to get married at the beach in Florida (we are originally from Orlando) and then have all of us take a cruise together out of Port Canaveral. Joyce Tsaris was our coordinator. It wa so difficult to try to take care of all the details of a wedding from another state and it was our intention to travel to Florida in July to see the facility (as we had only seen pictures) and to take care of all the minute details that a wedding includes, however my father in-law became quite ill and we had to forgo the trip to Melbourne to go directly to Tarpon Springs, where he was. Needless to say, we ended up having to rely entirely on Joyce's assistance and hope that we had put our faith in the correct person for this very special day.

Let me just tell you, I have been in the Customer Service business for many years and Joyce and her team are the BEST (bar none) that I have ever had the priviledge to work with. She had several weddings the weekend of our event but we never felt neglected or less important than anyone else. She took care of every small detail and even was able to add a rehearsal dinner for us at the last minute. She even went so far as to run out with an umbrella for my in-laws when it began to rain. Her team were professional, courteous and paid perfect attention to the smallest detail and she ran the show like a true pro.

In short, she made our daughter's event perfect and handled every crisis without blinking. I never really got an opportunity to truly thank her for her support and attention for my entire family. (There were about 50 people staying at the hotel so it was chaotic). I just wanted you to know what a gem you have in her. She was there all weekend working each event as if it was the only thing going on in the hotel. Your front desk staff were also professional and a joy to work with. Be proud of the staff that you have, as I have made sure to tell everyone that will listen, that this hotel is the place to go with their event needs. Ninety percent of the guests were local and so it is a real possibility that they will be able to use your services' in the future. Thank Joyce again for me and please treat her right. She certainly deserves as good as she gives. Thank you again and we look forward to our next visit to Crowne Plaza."

"I want to thank you and your staff for the excellent manner in which our meeting was managed. Because I was not participating in the meeting, I was nervous about how any changes or issues would be handled. Each morning I arrived to check the room setup then went to my office for the day. Each afternoon I arrived at the Crowne to assist in closing the meeting, and each day I was greeted with professional & courteous service from the bellhops (do you still call them that?) to the housekeeping staff. There are a few employees I wish to highlight and they are Wendee Yoakum, Pam Tatlock, Susie Moore and Pedro M.

After working together with me to create the best possible BEO for this 4 day meeting, Wendee was on hand to help with our real-time adjustments. Each time I stopped at the front desk Pam gave me a smile and quickly responded to my requests. Susie went out of her way to ensure the food and beverage was exactly what our group wanted. And when we were shocked by the price of an equipment rental, Pedro graciously took our Banquet Check to someone in the background and had an adjustment made.

Everything went smoothly and I am grateful to you and your outstanding staff."
