Beginning the journey of LGBT wedding planning? Never fear. We're thrilled to help in every way we can to help bring this magic day to life.

On June 26, 2015, Obergefell v. Hodges (576 U.S. ___ (2015)), resulted in a United States Supreme Court case decision to grant same-sex couples the fundamental right to marry under both the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Even before this landmark decision, Crowne Plaza Melbourne was committed to helping people of all orientations bring their weddings to life!

At Crowne Plaza Melbourne, sophisticated and stunning oceanfront Florida hotel weddings are our forte. Use our suite of wedding planning services to design your ceremony, reception and more, and reference some of our most valuable resources for LGBT weddings. Our offerings include two large indoor ballrooms, beachside ceremony venues, patios overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, covered and uncovered cocktail hours, and full-service event planning.

Additionally, we are familiar with a number of local officiants who support same-sex marriages, whether Ethical Humanist, a minister or rabbi from the congregation to which you or your partner belong, Unitarian Universalist, Universal Life, or Metropolitan Community church, a religion that leaves the decision to individual clergy (Buddhist, some Protestant, Reform Jewish). Feel free to contact us for more information on finding an officiant.
